Chinese blue & white Porcelain Plate, Kangxi Period (1662-1722)
Superb blue and white porcelain plate. Excellent colour and painting shows a jumping boy on a terrace of a pavilion inside a fenced area. Large vase of flowers in the background. The sides are painted with important Scholars and Taoist emblems for fortune, longevity, wealth and success in life generally.
Perfect condition: only the typical traces of production (see baking traces at base rim) and use – no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations.
