Big Chinese „One Hundred Deers“ Porcelain Vase, Republic Period or PRC
Vase with generously rounded sides finely painted with a continuous scene of a herd of deer in a mountainous landscape, the stags, bucks, doe, and fawns painted white, red, brown, and sometimes with spotted fur prancing and grazing, all amidst twisted pine trees. Cranes fly around the tree crown.
Red handpainted Yongzheng Mark, late Republic Period (1912-1949) early PRC.
Excellent condition, only the typical traces of production and of the age.
