Chine de commande Porcelain Dish, Qianlong Period, ca. 1740
Extremely rare chinese porcelain dish, fine decorated with 8 hunting dogs in a landscape with tree. An Island in the backround bearing a village with church. Painted in a high quality cobalt blue oxide underglaze – a very rare type of Chine de commande.
Excellent condition: backside is one filled small chip from where a short line in the glaze results – further only the typical traces of the production and use.
A great collectors piece, hard to find!
