Rare Chinese Kraak bowl, Ming Dynasty – Wanli period (1573-1619)
A rare Chinese Kraak porcelain bowl, finely formed from thin porcelain, decorated in underglaze blue with birds and plants.
Very good condition without restoration. There are a few chips on the lower base and frits on the upper opening edge, a firing defect in the base and a star-shaped hairline on the inside side – see photos. Otherwise only the typical signs of production and use.
